Stonewater's £5m retrofit programme under SHDF Wave 2.1 successfully upgraded 320 properties with Solar PV, ASHPs, insulation, and HHRSH, overcoming resident disengagement through dedicated support, training, and effective communication.

This project involved retrofitting homes occupied exclusively by residents with Additional Needs. Ensuring comfort, safety, and clear communication required an entirely new approach to resident engagement and scheduling.

Successfully delivered a £2m retrofit programme for Bromford under SHDF Wave 2.1, completing Solar PV, ASHPs, EWI, and reroofing across 116 properties within a condensed timeframe, through efficient mobilisation, strategic collaboration, and effective resident engagement.

At LivGreen, we know that home improvement projects, especially large-scale retrofits, can bring up concerns for residents. The idea of having work done in their homes, often for several weeks, can be unsettling. 

LivGreen partnered with Stonewater to retrofit homes in West Coker and deliver sustainable community benefits, including a Scrapstore PlayPod at West Coker Primary School, boosting energy efficiency, creativity, and wellbeing for pupils.
