We’re attending the NHMF Maintenance Conference 2026, taking place on 20–21 January 2026 at the Crowne Plaza, Stratford-upon-Avon.
The conference brings together maintenance and asset management professionals from across the housing sector to celebrate progress, share knowledge, and explore the future of housing maintenance. With over 400 attendees expected, it provides a valuable opportunity for meaningful discussion and collaboration across the sector.
Conference Themes
The NHMF 2026 programme is structured around three key themes that reflect the sector’s most pressing priorities:
Keeping Homes Safe
This theme focuses on building safety, compliance, fire safety, and the latest updates on Awaab’s Law, with a strong emphasis on practical implementation. Sessions will explore how organisations can embed safety into maintenance and asset management strategies while meeting regulatory requirements.
Keeping Homes Warm
With net zero commitments and energy affordability firmly on the agenda, this strand covers energy efficiency, retrofit strategies, funding models, and resident engagement in energy upgrades. Discussions will highlight approaches to improving thermal performance, reducing carbon emissions, and delivering long-term value across housing stock.
Keeping Homes Healthy
Healthy homes are central to improving resident wellbeing. This theme addresses damp, mould, poor air quality, and the growing focus on linking housing interventions to positive health outcomes. Sessions will examine how maintenance and investment decisions can support healthier living environments.
Supporting Strands
In addition to the core themes, NHMF 2026 includes supporting strands that reflect the practical realities of delivery:
