At LivGreen, we believe that successful retrofit is built on collaboration, expertise and a shared commitment to creating more energy-efficient homes.
That's why we're incredibly proud to have played a key role in Stonewater's award-winning retrofit programme, which was recognised as Retrofit Project of the Year: Midlands and Wales at the 2026 Unlock Net Zero Awards.
While the award was presented to Stonewater, we're delighted to have contributed to the success of a project that is making a real difference to residents and supporting the UK's journey towards Net Zero.
Delivering Meaningful Retrofit at Scale
The award-winning programme formed part of the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) Wave 2.1 initiative and set out to improve the energy performance of 827 homes across the Midlands and Wales.
Working in partnership with Stonewater, LivGreen delivered tailored retrofit solutions based on the needs of each individual property, ensuring every home received the most appropriate energy efficiency improvements.
Measures delivered across the programme included:
- Solar PV systems
- Air Source Heat Pumps
- Loft insulation
- Cavity wall insulation
- High Heat Retention Storage Heaters
By taking a whole-house approach to retrofit, the programme has helped create warmer, healthier and more energy-efficient homes while reducing carbon emissions and helping residents lower their energy costs.
Congratulations to everyone involved in delivering this fantastic programme and to the teams recognised at the Unlock Net Zero Awards.
As demand for high-quality retrofit continues to grow, LivGreen remains committed to delivering compliant, end-to-end retrofit programmes that create long-term value for housing providers, residents and the environment.
We're proud to have contributed to this award-winning project and look forward to continuing to support our partners in delivering sustainable homes that are fit for the future.
Congratulations once again to Stonewater and everyone involved.
