Funding Support
Retrofit funding refers to financial support provided to organisations/associations for upgrading their existing systems and infrastructure to improve efficiency and sustainability.
This funding can cover a wide range of improvements, from energy-efficient lighting and HVAC systems to advanced manufacturing technologies. By understanding the retrofit funding, organisations/associations can identify opportunities to enhance their operations without incurring substantial upfront costs.
Moreover, leveraging retrofit funding can position your organisations/associations as a leader in sustainability, attracting environmentally conscious clients and partners.
In 2022, the UK government launched a £3bn funding scheme to green retrofits on homes and public buildings across the UK.
For private homeowners, £2bn will be available to help upgrade the energy performance of their homes, using TrustMarked-registered installers.
The government also confirmed that £4bn will be made available via ECO4 to retrofit homes with energy efficiency measures and heating system upgrades between 2022 and 2026.
Understanding the various funding options available can empower stakeholders to make informed decisions that align with their goals.
