Sarah joined Turner & Townsend as a Principal Consultant in 2022 with over 15 years’ experience in housing and carbon reduction. Sarah leads on the communications, learning and development elements of the Home Upgrade Grant: Phase 2, with a focus on upskilling and sharing best practices within local authorities to enable them to apply for high quality deliverable retrofit programmes.

Sarah has developed and implemented sustainability strategies with a particular strength in bringing stakeholders together to identify and prioritise the key areas requiring attention.

Jason, who has a background in building surveying, is an award-winning energy, sustainability, property and development specialist, with 34 years’ experience working independently and as part of multi-disciplinary teams within the housing sector.

Energy efficiency is a passion of Jason’s, particularly helping to alleviate fuel poverty for residents and he supported in the delivery of the UK’s first deep retrofit, near zero carbon solution, to five homes in the South of England. Jason runs his own property consultancy alongside working for Pretium as the Framework Specialist for the Greener Futures Partnership decarbonisation delivery framework. Within just five months of its launch, the framework is on target to onboard over £100 million of decarbonisation projects.

Over the past two years, as an energy property consultant, he has supported landlords to deliver over £40 million of energy improvements to their homes, (either part or fully funded) via SHDF, LADS, HUGs or ECO funding.

Tim is responsible for the delivery of LiveWest’s retrofit programme across their portfolio of 39,000 properties, focusing initially on 9,000 of the worst performing. His role encompasses strategic planning, identification of property and project clusters, planning and oversight of assessment and project deliver, securing funding and financial packages and representing LiveWest externally on green and funding matters. DEA and PAS2035 trained.

In our webinar, Tim will be discussing learnings from SHDF Wave 2.1, how LiveWest placed a successful bid and how they planned their programme of works.
