A comprehensive evaluation, designed to identify the most effective energy efficiency improvements for your home.
A retrofit assessment is a non-intrusive survey carried out by a qualified Retrofit Assessor that requires access to all rooms in the property, including the loft if accessible.
What will happen during the survey?
This survey will gather the information required for us to assess what energy-saving measures could benefit you and your home.
The key components of the survey are:
- Occupant assessment - evaluates your needs and behaviours to ensure that the retrofit measures will be suitable and beneficial for all those living within your home.
- Condition survey - A detailed inspection of your property’s existing structure, including heating, ventilation, and insulation systems.
- Energy report - Also known as an Energy Performance Report (EPR), this report provides an analysis of the property’s current energy performance and areas where improvements can be made.
The data gathered will then be sent to the Retrofit Coordinator to create a detailed improvement plan of the retrofit measures required within your property, to make it more energy efficient and save you money on your energy bills.
How long will the survey take?
The appointment will take between one to two hours.
