The Bromford Flagship Programme presented a significant challenge due to the tight timeline. We were brought in at a late stage, with only a few months remaining to complete the project by the end of March 2025. Despite this, we managed to mobilise quickly and began work on-site by January 2025, ensuring that all installations, including Solar PV, ASHPs, External Wall Insulation (EWI), and reroofing—were completed within the required timeframe.
Our ability to meet this challenging deadline was made possible by early collaboration with Bromford’s project team. We conducted risk workshops to identify potential obstacles and agreed on a streamlined approach to accelerate the process. This early in-person collaboration was key to ensuring that all parties were aligned and that the project could move forward smoothly.
One of the most critical aspects of the project was resident access. To mitigate delays, our site-based project managers worked closely with Bromford’s neighbourhood teams to conduct door-knocking campaigns. This proactive approach helped improve resident engagement, enabling us to maintain a steady flow of access and ensure that no property was left behind.
The success of this project highlights our ability to mobilise rapidly and deliver high-quality retrofits under tight deadlines. This experience also demonstrated our competence in managing multiple technical measures simultaneously, an ability we plan to leverage for future WH:SHF projects.
